1. Using Animocha

Animocha is a platform for discovering, viewing, rating, and supporting independent animation. By creating an account or using services that require one, you agree to these terms and any applicable product-specific terms.

2. Accounts and security

Provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and notify the platform if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity authorized through your account, subject to applicable law.

3. Creator content and rights

Creators retain ownership of their work. By publishing content, creators grant Animocha only the limited licenses needed to host, process, stream, display, promote, and deliver that content according to their publishing settings. Creators must have the rights and permissions needed for everything they upload.

4. Access models, payments, and refunds

Titles may be free with ads, free without ads, pay-per-view, rented for a limited time, or sold with a downloadable-copy license. The specific price, access duration, ad experience, download availability, and license must be shown before purchase. A purchase of a copy does not transfer copyright unless an explicit written agreement says so. Refunds, taxes, payment processing, and consumer rights are subject to applicable law and the final published refund policy.

5. Ratings and discovery

Ratings should reflect genuine viewing experiences. Do not manipulate ratings, coordinate fraud, or use automated activity to distort discovery. Randomized discovery does not guarantee placement, reach, or revenue.

6. Prohibited conduct and enforcement

Do not violate others' rights, evade access controls, interfere with platform security, upload unlawful material, or harass other users. We may remove content or restrict accounts under a published enforcement process, with appeal routes where available and required.

7. Availability and changes

Services may change or become unavailable. We will communicate material changes as required by law. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

Respect creative rights

• Upload only work you own or have permission to publish.
• Do not repost full animations without authorization or circumvent paid access.
• No AI-generated content. Disclose third-party material when platform policy or law requires it.

Keep discovery honest

• No fake ratings, review brigading, engagement bots, or paid review manipulation.
• Do not mislabel content, thumbnails, age suitability, or monetization terms.
• Do not spam comments, reviews, or creator outreach.

Safety and lawful content

• No unlawful content, credible threats, exploitation, or sexual content involving minors.
• Use accurate age ratings and content notices where appropriate.
• Do not use the service to facilitate fraud, malware, or other harmful activity.

Reporting and appeals
